Say hello to Evert

We've talked about it for hours and hours. Days and days, over months and years. I've always wanted a dog.

This is Evert:

He got his name when we in the car back from the breeder listened to P1 and the song Brevet från lillan was played on the radio.
The song is sung by Evert Taube, one of our greatest singers ever.
The minute we heard the song, we knew. It's Evert. The little puppy we just met is Evert.
Best thing? My oldest friend's grandfather's name was Evert, and my mother's father's name was Evert too. So, it's more than perfect.

Some more than great art

I've got four friends I want to be my kids godmothers. One of them is Malin Gabriella Nordin. To me she's Picasso. 

I love her art as much as I love her, and I've asked her for some paintings and sculptures to buy for ages. 

When I lived in Stockholm, my favorite art gallery was just some blocks away from my apartment and it's called Steinsland Berliner. Now Malin is being represented by them and it made my heart skip a beat. I took the photo of her a night in 2009 I think. The huge ribbon she's holding she originally placed on a small bar in Midsommarkransen where some friends had a party. She brought the huge ribbon to our friend Jacob that night, but I dont remember if she brought it home later.

To all of you, from all of me

Today is the last day to send Christmas cards in Sweden, so I had to sit down and just do it.
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
I made some different ones, some with a cotton string, and others with a sketched one. I like them both. Now I just need to get stamps and cross my fingers they'll travel safe to the recipients.
