The most beautiful thing I'll ever wear

We're planning our wedding.
It's only one month since L asked me to marry him in Paris, but we're not the kind of people who wait and plan and dream. We do things.
It took us three days from the first time we met 'til we changed relationship status on Facebook. It took me four days to move from Stockholm to Gothenburg. An it took me a month to move into his apartment.
You hear. We don't do things slowly.
So therefore, we don't plan to plan our wedding for 18 months, or ever six, as it seems right now. We want to do this and not wait our whole life.
This is my dress, it's 40's vintage and I found it in a shop here in Gothenburg, and for the first time ever, something in a vintage store fitted perfectly from the beginning. It'll need some stitches and some buttons, but then, it's more than perfect.

GOSH! There's the spring!!!!

I've waited for such a long time now. I'm sick of this cold.
To help me forget that its so cold outside I still use my huge down feather jacket, I've been trying to get some things to grow in my window. I've collected seeds from tomatoes, red peppers and chili. The lemon seeds died, but today I actually had to re-plant my small seeds into bigger pots!!
Maybe this is a sign. Maybe spring is coming to Gothenburg after all.
The trick? Just plant seeds from the red bell peppers. The green, orange or yellow ones won't work.
I'll collect some lemon seeds this week and try it again. I so badly want my own lemon tree, so I can sing the song Lemon tree to it as it grows bigger and bigger.

Once size fits all

I'm no big fan of fancy underwear, not in the way that I don't wear any, but I just don't get amused buying it. They just need to be there, if you know what I mean. Some days ago I had a ticket left to Local Natives gig in Gothenburg, my friend Pia, whom you've met at Once Upon A Time here at Yash, was desperate to go see them and I had to celebrate my mums birthday. It was perpect, Pia got the ticket and I got to celebrate. Today she gave me this super mega great trousers and bras. I love them allready even though I haven't tried them on yet. They're from Abecita, where Pia is the designer.

MUSIC: Ida Redig

Ida Redig is from Gothenburg, she got this amazing voice and makes some of the best songs I've ever heard. As the huge Fleetwood Mac-fan I am I was a bit nervous when I found out she made a cover of Everywhere, but it's more than great. Now I'm going to clean my apartment and listen to it on such a high volume my neighbors will be mad.
If you want more than this song, listen to her on Spotify.
Have a nice Saturday everyone!

A song for a trip or so

Music is one of the biggest parts of my life. Not only do I spend some nights every month playing records at clubs in Gothenburg, but I also have the luxury of working with music and discover new bands, songs and artists.
One of my favorite band has just released a new song, called Line of fire. The band's name is Junip and the singer i José Gonzalez.
And right now, you're extremely lucky, it's not only the first song from their new album, you can also download it for free, right here below. Do it, then take a trip. By train or by bus, lean against the window and let the world move outside the window and just listen. It's gonna be amazing. I promise you.
